Create
Once the project objectives are agreed upon, the
functional, technical and creative requirements are drawn up. These are broadly
the specifications to which to which work will be carried out. This is an
iterative process final document is approved by the client.
3.
Construct
At this stage the product is developed based on the
specifications. This too is an iterative process to ensure adequacy and
completeness. Following the development internal testing is carried out to iron
out any irregularities, inconsistencies and other technical difficulties users
may have. The output at this stage is the prototype.
4.
Check
Once the beta site is launched this prototype is
thoroughly examined under actual business situations for a specified and agreed
period. At this stage a high level of real life situational usage is encouraged
to identify any problems that may have been overlooked during the previous
stages. All issues that come up in this stage is documented.
5.
Conduct
All documented issues are resolved and testing is
carried out to ensure integrity. The site is then finally launched.
